Letter Jan 2010 Project
in ‘Stitch’ magazine There is a project of mine in
the next issue of ‘Stitch’( no 63) due
out on the 22nd Jan. It
features an autumn landscape based on the rolling Northumberland landscape.
It uses dupion silk and appliqué techniques and is a new departure from
my usual painted and machine embroidered work.
NB
I have used the ‘aquabond’ fabric from Art Van Go and the ‘Aquatics
Bond’ from Barnyarns and have found the Aquatics Bond easier to use as it is a
muslin-like fabric and not as sticky as the ‘aquabond’ from Art Van Go.
Barnyarns website is www.barnyarns.com
